Grrrrr...

Sometimes I really don't get people. Stupid people in particular.

And I'm not talking about slow or difficult to deal with kind of people. I'm talking about those who have a college diploma and still haven't figured out the simple ideas of reading.

In English, which I'm pretty sure is what the person used to graduate college with, we read from left to right, top to bottom.

So when I'm looking at a page of photos in a magazine and there's a row of 4 photos at the top, 3 photos on the next line down, 2 on the next one down and then just one photo at the bottom...

AND it has been instructed that these said photos be numbered from left to right, top to bottom... You'd think, just maybe, they'd appear with photos 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the top.

Oh no, what gets turned into me is a page with the photos numbered 3, 6, 5 and 8 across the top. And the rest on the page are just as screwy.

I'm not kidding guys. What happened was she moved around the photos from their original positions (that's okay) and instead of re-numbering them in a proper order, I'm given this jumbled mess (that's not okay).

Anyone who looks at it would know this isn't right. But nooooo, I get this mess sent to me (way past deadline) and am expected to what? Just let it go?

NOOOOO. It's awful and I won't let this fly. Why? First all, it's wrong. Second, it's got my name on it. It's also got this other person's name on it as well. But I guess it must mean more to me. I guess I'm so "picky" and like to have good things associated with my name, not crap.

Auuugh. So that's where I've been all week. I'm trying to climb out of idiot-land and keep my sanity too. It's harder than it looks.

Meanwhile, I've found some pretty paper art that's pretty amazing to see. I don't want to even guess how many hours one would spend creating these pieces of art, but it's more than I have at the moment. So I'll just look at the pictures and dream of the one day I too might have this kind of free time.

And that's all for today.

paper cutouts pretty, but somebody has too much time on their hands...I know, we need art, etc. to brighten our dreary lives but still...surprised the tree huggers aren't screaming about killing trees for mere "fun".
