It's only Thursday...

So today is only Thursday, and after a much anticipated wait, I will post photos from Monday.


First here is the sweetheart powering (and driving with no hands!) the mighty pontoon boat we rented. Below him is the EXTREMELY low clearance bridge he managed to navigated us under... we all were ducking!

Here are a few of the pups in their fashionable lake wear...

Here's Jackie curled up with our friend Carl. He's from Maine. You'd think he wouldn't notice the cold as much, but he kept using the dogs for their heat!

Here's a couple of Baylee looking like Queen of the World. She really did have a good time, until later.

Later would be when she decided to jump into the lake from the dock after we'd let the dogs off the boat (with adult supervision of course!) mid-point through the day to do their business. I'm assuming since she's never seen large bodies of water like a lake personally and has always been on dry land even when wet, she had no clue what she was jumping into when she jumped. But alas, she did jump and those doggie life vests everyone harassed me about came in pretty handy. Especially thanks to the handle along her back. Made pulling her in much easier. (Thanks to Carl to retrieving her!)

So here she is just after her swan dive into the lake. She looks pathetic.

But thanks to my sweetheart's generosity and giving up of his sweatshirt (no one remembered to bring towels), We dried her off and warmed the fluff-ball back up.

But, all in all the trip was great and we got to see some *NICE* houses out on the lake. House envy? Yeah, big time. I just keep telling myself "one day..."

Anyway, this first one I like the double decker deck on the back. The overall house wasn't as nice or big as others, but I loved the deck!

This one was just pretty to look at...
