Loving the lights...

I know, it's been a few days since last posted, but in all fairness it is the busiest time of the year. We've had balls to attend (and I'm not even kidding there...) and tests to take and lots of work going on.

However, last night we took a breather and went with some friends and their two kids to drive through the Christmas light display out at the beach.

For those unfamiliar with Virginia Beach and our crazy Holiday traditions - this is the only time of the year when you can drive your car along the Oceanfront Boardwalk. It's right next to the good old Atlantic - seen all the better with a gorgeous full moon like last night - and is all lit up with lavish holiday light displays. I use holiday because not only are there Christmas lights but there is a menorah and a dreidel there too. There's all sorts of sea themes, a Nativity and even the full 12 days of Christmas. It's 33 blocks of lights and fun Christmas spirit.

Anyway, I didn't get any pictures last night, but found some today on the Internet so you could get an idea. I took some last year and the year before (it's our little tradition!), but can't find them this red hot minute ... Sorry.
