Here come the police...

Today I was scearching for materials for a post about how much I hate Mondays.

Especially this one. Didn't get much sleep last night, I feel like I'm already a week behing at work and my stomach's still feeling pretty bad from whatever made it upset starting at... ohhh 4 p.m. yesterday.

So I'm looking for artwork to support my post. I find this:



Yep. That's cute.

But then, I run across this (click on it to zoom in for the full effect):


I'm not making it up. Some how it pops up when you do an image search for Monday. Why? Who knows.

But the whole point is what on earth is a Dolphin Friendly yard?!? Yes, I get the idea... no chemicals...no pollutants... blah blah blah.

But come on!!! Dolphin-safe tuna is one thing, but a Dolphin friendly yard?

Now I like dolphins. I've seen many of them around here and in the Gulf of Mexico. Cute critters... playful... fun to watch. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

But now I'm suppose to let bugs and nasty bacteria and fungi take over my yard in order to save the dolphins?!? Now here's a full disclosure - I don't do a heck of a lot in our yard - my hubby's the green thumb and tackles 99% of the yard needs. But in my 1% and in my support of his work - I'm all for the necessary chemicals to keep everything green and looking good and pest free. Otherwise we'd just have dirt, bugs and weeds surrounding our home.

Dolphins needn't worry. We're not drowning our place in a ton of unnecessary harsh chemicals - I've got to keep everything dog-friendly for my two dogs that run through the yard and flowerbeds. But even without the chemicals - my yard is waterless. I don't have giant tanks of water laying about just incase a wandering dolphin should drop by. So I guess my yard is REALLY unfriendly toward dolphins.

Shame on me.

And by the way, I still hate Mondays. So I'm not Monday-friendly either. So with me being a hater of Mondays and Dolphin-friendly yards - I better be looking out for the PC police and PETA. I'm such a menace to society....
