The tank's on E

So if you can't tell, I'm suppose to be writing some stuff for work today and I've yet to find any motivation or inspiration. And truthfully, it's not a last-minute panic, so I don't see anything spurring me on to write. I just don't have anything to go on. It's like I'm sucking on fumes and can't wait to jet out of here today.

I'm attributing this to the fact I'm leaving tomorrow for a little get away. Yes, I know I just left you all last weekend. But this weekend's for enjoyment and to go away to celebrate our anniversary, not a family visitation.

Ever been to West Virginia? I don't remember the last time I visited there, as we were driving through. But hopefully this trip will be more relaxed and at a slower pace. Until Saturday.

Saturday we've booked a whitewater rafting trip. We'll be flying down and splashing through the New River. It's going to be fun. Wet? Sure - but still much fun.

We did some whitewater rafting during our honeymoon in Montana. It was a blast. So we're going to do it again - four wonderful years later.

This is much better than any fruit, flowers or appliances.

What's that you say? You've never been? You've got to try it! It's a thrill. Just be sure to hang on, bring a warm (dry) change of clothes and soak in all the nature around you. There's no cell phones or computers out on the river. Just your gorgeous surroundings, the laughter and excitement, and water all around.

Yeah, it's going to be fun. I'll let you know how it went when, and if, we make it back. Say a little prayer for us.
