On the road again
I'm truly amazed at some of the random things we've already come across in our travels so far. This is a stop in Gothenburg, Nebraska. It's the original Pony Express stop. It's been moved from the original location, but you can read that by clicking on (and enlarging) the pictures.

I've always loved the pony express story. Many of the riders were very young. What tough, brave youngsters to do what the did. Some days I think the Pony Express could deliver quicker than the postal service today.
