I'm melting...
Not to be a huge complainer. I know it's hot everywhere right now. And I know I could have it much worse and be having to work outside in the heat or in other heated conditions.
But for me, for the job I do have - it's miserable right now. Our department's air conditioner is not fully-functioning and we have had someone "come look at it" several times.
I'm thinking they keep sending the same ignorant and blind lizard who can regulate his body heat much better than I and keeps telling us it's working okay.
It was 78 in here when I got in at 8:10 this morning. It's now 11 and we've well over 80 in here.
My new tower fan I bought from Wal-Mart makes sitting at my desk much better than it had been, oh ... let's say the past five weeks. But it's not a nice 68 or anything. Although as a bonus I do have the wind-blown hair/model look down rather nicely.
So we melt and we wait. And I know we aren't the only ones waiting for our A/C to get fixed while the weather outside reaches over 100, but come on.
10 bucks says the big boss (who's out of town on a trip yet again) wouldn't put up with this. He would either had it fixed right away or his butt would have been at home. But nooooo, us little minions in this department must sweat it out all day.
Grrrrrrr.

Remember it's hotter longer and later in the year here at home so don't complain. I work outside in the hot/cold all year. But I hope they get your A/C fixed
Dad
Hey girl! I hear ya on the heat- it's been quite toasty in our air-conditionless house the last few weeks! Hope that air-conditioner gets fixed at your work soon! There's nothing worse than having to try and be professional and look professional when you're sweating. Love those pics too- did you photoshop the one of the lady or did you find one like that? neat!
